Longwood University is a public university located in Farmville, Virginia. Admissions aren't overly selective, but applicants will need solid grades and standardized test scores to be admitted. About one in four applicants will not get in. In the graph above, the blue and green dots represent accepted students. As you can see, the majority of successful applicants had high school GPAs of "B" or better, combined SAT scores of about 1450 or higher, and ACT composite scores of 20 or better. The Longwood website states that admitted students have an average GPA of 3.4.

While test scores and grades are important parts of the Longwood admissions equation, they are not the only factors.
