Discussion of Georgetown College's Admissions Standards:

Georgetown College (not to be confused with Georgetown University) doesn't have an overly high bar for admissions, but students will need to have decent grades and standardized test scores. Roughly one out of every five applicants will not be admitted. In the graph above, the blue and green dots represent students who won admission. Most had SAT scores (RW+M) of 950 or higher, an ACT composite of 18 or higher, and a high school average of a "B" or better. Many admitted students had grades in the "A" range.

Keep in mind that the rigor of your high school coursework will play a role in the admissions process. Georgetown College's admissions folks will want to see that you've taken sufficient college preparatory classes, and success in challenging courses such as Advanced Placement, Honors, IB, and dual enrollment can play an important role in demonstrating your college readiness.
