Johnson & Wales University is a career-centered university with four campuses in the United States -- Providence, Rhode Island; North Miami, Florida; Denver, Colorado; and Charlotte, North Carolina. The campus at North Miami is divided into four colleges: Arts and Sciences, Hospitality, Business, and Culinary Arts. Students can choose from over 20 majors: popular choices include Criminal Justice, Parks and Rec Management, and Foodservice Administration. Academics are supported by a 25 to 1 student / faculty ratio. JWU also has an active study-abroad program; students can study at colleges around the world, and there any many programs (and places!) to choose from. Outside of the classroom, students can join over 30 clubs and organizations, including academic honor societies, arts clubs, and recreational groups. On the athletic front, the JWU Miami Wildcats compete in the National Intercollegiate Athletic Association (NAIA) within the Sun Conference. Popular sports include golf, soccer, basketball, and track.
