"Recommend a Good Book to Me" — College Interview Tips

By December 19, 2013

Follow me on:

Many college interviewers like to ask prospective college students about their reading habits. After all, students who love to read and get excited about books are students who are likely to succeed in college. Your interviewer might ask about books in many different ways: What types of books do you like? What's the best book you read this summer? If you were stranded on an island, what three books would you want to have with you? Or, as my headline states, "Recommend a good book to me."

Before you enter the interview room, think about how you might answer one of these questions. You want to choose the right type of book, and you want to answer the question in a way that shows your potential as a college student. These interview tips can help with this type of question.

If you've read a great book that you think would work well in an interview, share your recommendation with other readers.
