Located on an attractive 55-acre campus in the small city of Owensboro, Kentucky Wesleyan College is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The college is about 40 minutes from Evansville, Indiana, and Nashville and Louisville are both about two hours away. For a small college, KWC offers an impressive 40 majors and 11 pre-professional programs. Academics are supported by a 15 to 1 student / faculty ratio. The college has also been moving into the online market and offers a BS in business administration that can be completed entirely online. Kentucky Wesleyan is an excellent value with tuition lower than many comparable private colleges, and nearly all students receive significant grant aid. Student life at KWC is active with over 40 clubs and organizations. A large percentage of students participate in intercollegiate athletics. The Panthers compete in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference. The school fields six men's and seven women's varsity sports.
