Princeton Review just released the results of a 2013 survey that asked, "What 'dream college' do you wish you or your child could attend if acceptance or cost weren't issues?" More than 500 institutions were named by over 14,000 respondents, and among students, these ten got the most votes:
- Stanford University
- Harvard College
- Columbia University
- New York University
- Princeton University
- UCLA
- MIT
- Yale University
- University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)
- University of California Berkeley
Much of the list is similar to last year's top ten, but Stanford took the #1 spot from Harvard, and MIT moved up one place. At the bottom of the list, Michigan and Berkeley bumped Brown and USC off the list.
You can find the full survey questions and results on the Princeton Review website here. If one of these ten schools is your dream school, you can click on the name in the list above to get a description, admissions data, costs, graduation rates, and other information.
