When it comes to private colleges, prospective students will find that the price tags are much higher, but the financial aid can be far more substantial. Taking into consideration academic quality, costs, and financial aid, The Princeton Review in collaboration with USA TODAY ranked these schools as the best values among private colleges and universities:
  1. Swarthmore College
  2. Harvard University
  3. Williams College
  4. Princeton University
  5. Pomona College
  6. Yale University
  7. Rice University
  8. Hamilton College
  9. Claremont McKenna College
  10. Grinnell College
The list represents a nice mix of large research universities and small liberal arts colleges. Click on a school's name for more information including admissions data. You can check out the complete list at The Princeton Review or USA TODAY.
