Dartmouth College Applications Drop 3% for Class of 2017

In a little good news for students with Ivy League dreams, not all of the prestigious universities are seeing application numbers climb. Dartmouth College experienced a 3% drop in application numbers for the Class of 2017. Nevertheless, the 22,400 students who applied represent the second-largest applicant pool in the school's history, and Dean of Admission Maria Laskaris estimates the admit rate will be around 10%.
