Advice on Getting into Yale

If you have Ivy League dreams, you're going to need stellar grades, high standardized test scores, and some meaningful and interesting extracurricular involvement.

Novelist Barry Lyga, a Yale graduate and former alumni interviewer for Yale, recently wrote an insightful blog piece on what a top university like Yale is looking for in an applicant. Check out his thoughts here: Getting into Yale. I particularly like his concluding remark: "Be the best, most interesting version of you that you can be." That's good advice no matter what you're planning for the future.
