Little of the Northeast and Middle Atlantic is being spared by Hurricane Sandy, and Brown University has closed down today and extended the deadline for Early Decision applications. Prospective students now have until November 7th to apply. Here's the announcement from the Brown undergraduate admissions website:
Our Early Decision application deadline has been extended to November 7. The extension applies to your application and to materials submitted on your behalf by your school. Please contact us at admission@brown.edu if you need additional time beyond November 7 to complete your Early Decision application.
