Students planning to apply early decision to Duke University now have a few extra days for completing their applications. The prestigious North Carolina university has joined all the Ivies, Stanford, and other institutions and extended its deadline. Applications are now due Sunday, November 4th. Here's the announcement from Duke Today:
Durham, NC - With the possible effect of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast, Duke Undergraduate Admissions is extending the application deadline to Sunday Nov. 4.
Given the uncertainty of the storm's impact, we still encourage students to submit their applications well before the deadline. An updated timeline is available on the application timeline and checklist.
