But engineering is not the school's only strength. The Sloan School of Management is one of the top business schools, and MIT was awarded a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa for its strengths in the liberal arts and sciences.

The 4,232 undergraduates come from all 50 states and 115 countries, and the MIT community has produced 77 Nobel Laureates and 52 National Medal of Science winners. But with an acceptance rate around 10%, you're going to need excellent grades, standardized test scores, and extracurricular achievements to get in.
