Our new first-year class will be arriving here at Alfred University later this week, and across the country colleges are kicking off the fall semester. If you're going to be a new college student, I envy you -- you're at the beginning of what should be some of the most rewarding years of your life.
But make sure you begin college with the understanding that college is not high school.
