The Common Application for the 2012-13 admissions cycle went live yesterday, a few hours ahead of schedule. You can find it on The Common Application website. And while I hate to be the bearer of bad news, you'd be wise to get started on your applications now rather than when you're busy with senior year classes.
The Common Application continues to grow in popularity. All 488 colleges who use it have holistic admissions. Current members include all of the Ivy League Schools, all of these top liberal arts colleges, all of these top women's colleges, and most of these top private universities. More and more public universities are also using The Common Application including The Ohio State University, the University of Tennessee Knoxville, UNC Chapel Hill, the University of Michigan, and the University of Virginia.
