What truly distinguishes Babson from other undergraduate business programs is its creative and hands-on curriculum which emphasizes leadership and entrepreneurship skills. The college has won numerous national awards for its innovative approach to business education. First-year students at Babson take a year-long course in which they work in teams to develop, launch and liquidate a for-profit business of their own design.
Admission to Babson College is highly selective with just over a third of applicants getting accepted. The college has an impressive 10 to 1 student / faculty ratio, and a high four-year graduation rate of 84%. The college is pricey, but students who qualify for financial aid are likely to get significant grant aid from Babson.

I am the parent of a high school senior/young entrepreneur. We have spent a lot of time in last few months visiting colleges from CA to MA, both business and entrepreneurial. Babson was by far the most impressive of any that we visited.
The students had energy and enthusiam for business that was truly contagious. In taking the campus tour and interviewing, my son felt like part of the school almost immediately. Kids shared their business ideas with him and inquired about his business. Other students walked up to talk freely about Babson and business.
The campus was absolutely beautiful and felt very safe and secure. The perks are numerous, including free laptops given to every student. I’m really hoping that this will be the school my son will attend next fall!
