Low SAT Scores? Check Out These Colleges

A new round of SAT scores were just released yesterday, and they're inevitably going to leave many students in states of panic and despair. Let's face it -- some students simply don't do well on standardized tests. Luckily, all is not lost. The list of test-optional colleges continues to grow, and some excellent colleges that do require SAT scores have admissions standards that are within reach of average students.

If you're a strong student but your SAT scores aren't what you'd like them to be, check out this list of 20 great colleges for students with low SAT scores. This is not a list of colleges with low admissions standards -- all of these schools will expect strong academic records and extracurricular involvement. However, in most cases these colleges do not place much emphasis on standardized test scores.
