What better way to recognize St. Patrick's day than a look at admission to Notre Dame, home of the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame is a private, Catholic university located in Indiana. The school has close to 12,000 students, of which a little over 8,000 are undergraduates. Admission standards are extremely high, so applicants will need strong credentials:
  • Percentage of applicants admitted: 26.7%
  • Middle 50% of SAT Math scores: 670 / 760
  • Middle 50% of SAT Reading scores: 650 / 740
  • Middle 50% of ACT Composite scores: 31 / 34
For its strengths in the liberal arts and sciences, the university has a chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. In athletics, Notre Dame is a member of the NCAA Division I Big East Conference.
