Ivy Leage Admissions Data for Class of 2012

Thursday April 10, 2008
Over the past couple of weeks, colleges and universities have begun releasing admissions data for the class of 2012. With record numbers of applicants, acceptance rates at many schools are at record lows. The numbers announced by the Ivy League show the challenge faced by this year’s applicants: Penn's data is not yet available. As discouraging as these numbers may look to prospective college students, admission to these elite schools is likely to be just as competitive for the class of 2013 - the number of high school seniors is projected to remain high.
