Make the Most of Your Campus Visit
During the next several weeks, colleges will be sending out acceptance letters to the class of 2012. If all goes well, you'll have to choose between a few different schools. Don't rely on pamphlets and guidebooks to make this important decision. The only way to tell if a school is really a good match for your personality and interests is to pay the campus a visit. And when you do visit, be sure to follow these tips to learn as much as you can about each school.
If you visited schools back before you applied, a second visit is a good idea, especially if you didn't sit in on classes and stay over night the first time around. You want to learn as much as you can about a school before you commit years of your life and thousands of dollars to it. If you carefully research your options, you'll have an excellent chance of ending up at a school that meets your academic needs and feels like home.
